Antelope

Come hunt trophy antelope on the 2.3 million acre Crow Reservation in Montana. Hunts are conducted from mid-August through October and have a two-person (2x1) minimum and a six-person maximum. Hundreds of antelope can be seen on the hunt, and this is a rifle only hunt. The hunt includes lodging, guaranteed licenses and guide. Clients provide their own meals on this hunt and are responsible for all coolers, ice and game bags. The lodge can accommodate up to 6 hunters and is fully stocked with all kitchen ware, bedding and towels. Hunters can expect 13-to-16-inch antelope with the average scores ranging from 68 to 76 inches. The outfitter recommends a flat shooting rifle with bipods as all the shooting is done from the prone or sitting position. There are no caliber restrictions for antelope, but the outfitter recommends nothing smaller than a 22-250. Typical shots range from 250 to 450 yards, but you may shoot as far as your equipment/skill allow you. The outfitter has taken a total of six bucks over the Boone and Crockett minimum with the largest scoring 86. The longest horned buck was taken was 17 inches. This is an outstanding youth hunt opportunity as there is no age requirement on kids and they just need a valid hunter safety card on their possession in order to hunt.
